LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Cal State Dominguez Hills softball team has been ranked 23rd nationally in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II National Poll for March 4. The last appearance for the Toros in the national ranking was in the March 20, 2013 edition of the poll, when they placed No. 21.
 
CSUDH is coming off a weekend where they won a four-game home series against San Francisco State, 3-1. The Toros took the first three games by scores of 6-5, 4-3 in eight innings and 9-1 in five innings, before dropping the series finale 9-3. CSUDH is currently 14-6 overall and second in the CCAA with a 7-3 conference record.
 
The Toros will travel to Turlock for a four-game series against Stanislaus State this weekend, March 6-7, playing a doubleheader on each day.
