LOS ANGELES - Senior Maryjane Smith won the 800 to highlight the Cal State Dominguez Hills track & field team's day at the Cal State LA Invitational, Saturday at Jesse Owens Track Stadium.
 
TORO HIGHLIGHTS
- Maryjane Smith won the 800 with a personal record of 2:20.22.
- Tia Parrish took third in the 100 with a time of 12.41. Yulinda Sam was eighth with a 13.11 effort.
- The 4x100 relay team of Kryschiana Pharr, Zakiyaa Nelson, Michelle Pickens and Samarea Johnson took third, crossing the line in 51.04.
- The 4x400 relay team of Argnae Myers, Jasmine McNary, Lauryn Jones and Maryjane Smith also took third with a performance of 4:06.56.
