LOS ANGELES – The Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State LA baseball teams put up another slugging kind of day Saturday, only this time it was the Golden Eagles who pulled through with a 15-10 win over the Toros at Reeder Field.
The California Collegiate Athletic Association series, now tied, shifts to Toro Field Sunday at noon. A reminder to set your clocks an hour forward as we enter Daylight Savings.

WHAT HAPPENED?
- It was another hitting barrage in LA, only it was the Golden Eagles (5-12, 4-9 CCAA) who out-hit the Toros (6-10, 5-9 CCAA) 19-13.
- The lead went back-and-forth for the first two innings. The Golden Eagles used a three-run first and second innings to take a 6-5 lead. They went on to score nine more in the middle innings – including five in the sixth – to build a 15-5 lead.
- Loska contines to add on to his CCAA lead in the home run column by belting his ninth in the seventh. Canepa also followed with a solo shot.
- Jordan Myrow carried a hot bat for the Golden Eagles, going a perfect 4-for-4 with a 5-RBI day.
