- Greatest thrill in high school/college athletics was: Throwing a no hitter senior year of high school and making it to states at Cypress College
- Was recruited by Cal Poly Pomona
- Aspires to win a championship with CSUDH and get drafted
- Favorite teams are the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, and Angels
