Bakersfield - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team had four players score in double figures in an exhibition matchup against Division I Cal State Bakersfield, Tuesday at The Icardo Center. The final score was 83-74 in favor of the Roadrunners.

In their final tune-up before the regular season, the Toros had a 48-42 rebounding advantage, led by senior
Dijour Ledbetter's game-high 15 rebounds. She also added 11 points for the double-double. Junior
Janelle Sumilong scored 18 points, the most in the contest. Freshman
Ariana Harper and senior
Destinee Williams were the other two Toros in double figures with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

CSUDH drew 26 personal fouls and went 29-of-37 from the charity stripe. In the defensive department, senior
Ahlisha Henderson and junior
Gabrielle Leos recorded four blocks and three steals, respectively, which were both game-bests.

The Toros hit the ground running led 23-22 after the first quarter and trailed by one at halftime, 41-40. CSUDH could not keep up with the Roadrunners' pace in the second half, 42-34, and saw a nine-point margin when the final buzzer sounded.

The Toros will officially open the 2019-20 season at the CCAA/PacWest Challenge, hosted by Biola. In the season-opener, CSUDH will take on Concordia Irvine on Friday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m., followed by Biola on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m.
