POMONA - The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team's California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) matchup at 25th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona ended in a 1-1 double overtime draw, Thursday at Kellogg Field.

The Toros (3-6-2, 1-3-1 CCAA) held a 13-8 shot advantage in 110 minutes of play.

Trailing 1-0, CSUDH scored in the 73rd minute as junior forward Sara Kattainen's corner kick was headed in the air by junior Madeleine Simones. The ball then found junior Holly Kaemerle's head and into the lower left part of the net for the equalizer. It was Kaemerle's fifth goal of the season.
The Broncos (8-3-1, 4-1-1 CCAA) scored in the 40th minute for the first goal of the game.

Kattainen, Simones, sophomore Vanessa Campos, freshman Salma Perez, sophomore Kelly Almazan, junior Haley McDevitt, freshman Kekoa Nelson and junior Jessica Neighbors played all 110 minutes on the field.

The Toros will have a day off before traveling to Cal State San Bernardino for another conference matchup. The game is set for a 2 p.m. start.
