SAN BERNARDINO - With swirling winds of up to 12 miles per hour, Cal State Dominguez Hills prevailed over Cal State San Bernardino in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) women's soccer matchup by a final score of 2-1, Sunday at Premier Field.
Â
Trailing 1-1 in the 54th minute, junior
Sara Kattainen laced an inswinging corner kick into the net by the far post which turned out to be the game-winner. It was Kattainen's first goal of the season.
Â
CSUDH was the first to light the board up. In the 14th minute, junior

Â
"It was bad conditions in San Bernardino, but it's not like they have to play in the weather too," said head coach
Marine Cano. "We played much better in the second half and got the win with two great goals."
Â
The Toros held a 9-6 shot advantage, 5-4 on shots on-goal, over the Coyotes in 90 minutes of play. Junior goalkeeper
