Toros Fall to First-Place Tritons Despite Late Comeback Attempt

CARSON – The Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball team made a valiant effort to come back from a 25-point deficit but first-place UC San Diego put the momentum to a half and exited the Torodome with an 82-70 win over the Toros Thursday.

The Toros (11-10, 7-8 CCAA) found the biggest momentum of the game by going on a 25-7 in the span of 8:36 to bring the deficit from 25 to seven with 2:33 left. But Triton big Chris Hanson picked up five points to put a halt to the rhythm and seal the win for the Tritons.
