CCAA Tournament Championship Rematch Set
• Tonight's game is a rematch from last season's CCAA Tournament final between Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State East Bay, which the Toros won 76-57.
• The Toros starting 5 did all the work as they scored all but two points. Anandi Jimenez scored 20 points, Breanne Garcia and Monay Lee both had 15, and former Toros Talia Rayford and Tayler Champion had 14 and 10, respectively. Jenee Gooden had a basket for the only points off the bench.
• Former Pioneer Stephanie Lopez scored 20 points and Tori Breshers earned 13.
• The Pioneers led by as many as three while the Toros led by as many as 19 late in the second half.

The Last Time these Two Teams Met
• Cal State Dominguez Hills had hoped to force overtime after a late turnover allowed Cal State East Bay to have the last possession in regulation. Pioneer Shannon Bland banked in a long 2-pointer at the buzzer to give her team a 59-57 come-from-behind win over the Toros Feb. 27.
• The Toros had led by at least 10 points throughout the second half until the Pioneers had a 16-6 run the remaining 6:10.
• Breanne Garcia led all players with 22 points with Ali Bettencourt producing 10 off the bench. Altogether, the Toros shot 44.9 percent from the field while the Pioneers shot 51 percent.
• Free throws also proved to be the difference in the game as the Toros hit nine of their 21 attempts.
