Jocelyne Diaz's career and game-high 20 points and 14 rebounds helped push the Cal State Dominguez Hills women's basketball team to a 67-64 victory over Cal State San Marcos.
Dijour Ledbetter had 10 points and pulled down 11 boards to match her game-high and
Imari Brown finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Kayla Gillett contributed to 11 points.
The Toros (4-7, 1-3 CCAA) scored the first bucket of the game via an
Imari Brown 3-pointer and stayed in control for the majority of the night with the Cougars only lead coming at the start of the fourth period.
CSSM (6-4, 3-2 CCAA) came within a single basket after Dee Armenta hit a 3-pointer with 26 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter.
DeLaura Castanada sealed the win for the Cardinal and Gold as she swiped her third steal of the night with four seconds left in the game and sank 1-of-2 free-throws to put the Toros up by three.
