Toro Soccer at the Stub Set for Friday

CARSON -- With the non-conference schedule in the rearview mirror for both Cal State Dominguez Hills soccer teams, the Toros will open California Collegiate Athletic Association play in style this Friday, hosting Humboldt State at the StubHub Center's Main Stadium.

The games at StubHub, occuring once per year for both teams, will see the women battle the Jacks at 4:30 pm, followed by the men's contest at 7 pm.

All CSUDH faculty, staff and students are admitted free of charge, with CSUDH's Office of the President, Office of Student Life, Loker Student Union, ASI, and University Housing providing additional support to this annual event.

The women's squad, led by first second-year head coach Aileen Nasypany, heads into Friday's contest with a 1-3 record, with the win coming in an 11-0 drubbing of Sierra Nevada College, while the men's squad is riding a four-game win streak during which it has outscored opponents 11-2, with all four wins coming on the road.

Prior to the men's introductions, head coach Joe Flanagan will be presented a plaque to commemorate career win No. 300 as head coach of the CSUDH men's program, a 3-1 victory at Cal Baptist on September 8.

Parking is available in Lot 6, with entrance to the Main Stadium available through the StubHub Center's vehicle entrance, located just south of Lot 6's southwest corner.
