Athletics Adds Lopez and Perry to Staff

CARSON -- Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics adds two familiar faces to its full-time staff in Business Manager Sara Perry and Executive Support Coordinator Kim Lopez, who had both served in similar capacities on an interim basis.

Lopez, who attended UCLA and has over 20 years of diversified executive and administrative support experience, joined the Toros in November 2013 as an Executive Assistant to the department, serving as the liaison between the senior staff and the support and coaching staffs. She also acted as the department's conduit to EMSA, Accounting, Faculty Affairs, Payroll, Information Technology, Physical Plant and the Finance office, departments that are all crucial to the department's daily operations, while providing support to timekeeping, travel, purchase orders and procurement.

Perry begins her first year as the Budget Manager after an interim stint that followed a six-month stretch in Academic Advising. Overseeing the department's financials, Perry is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department and will oversee each sport program's budgets. Perry earned her Master's Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Notre Dame de Namur University with a Bachelor's in Business and a double concentration in Sports and Leisure Management and Marketing: Minor in Communications. Prior, Perry was a Compliance Assistant at CS Fullerton in 2011 where she assisted in the management of NCAA eligiblity status of all incoming student-athletes.
