HAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State Dominguez Hills battled for all 90 minutes Thursday evening, creating multiple scoring opportunities before falling 1–0 to Cal State East Bay in its season finale.
The Toros outshot the Pioneers 9–6 and kept pressure on the home side throughout, led by Emilia Sievers, Makenzie Hewison, and Betsy Lopez Rayas, who each registered key attempts on goal. Alexis Delgado and Cynthia Ramirez added to the attack, helping CSUDH generate five shots on target.
Goalkeepers Audrey Haman and Marlies Nauman split time in the net, with Haman recording a first-half save and Nauman holding East Bay to just one goal in the second frame. Defenders Victoria Ulloa, Kaila Tone, and Celine Villaseñor anchored a steady back line that limited the Pioneers' chances from open play.
The Toros conclude the 2025 campaign at 5–11–2 overall and 2–8–1 in CCAA play, showing consistent growth and resilience down the stretch against some of the conference's toughest opponents.
