INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- In sole possession of second place in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros remained at No. 3 in the second NCAA region poll of the year, with the top eight teams earning berths into the NCAA postseason tournament.
CCAA leader Humboldt State checked in at No. 2, followed by Cal Poly Pomona at No. 7 and Cal State San Bernardino at No. 8.
The top eight teams in the West Region will advance to NCAA postseason play, with the top seed getting the opportunity to host the first three rounds.
With an overall record of 23-1, Alaska Anchorage tops the list, followed by Cal Baptist at No. 4, Seattle Pacific at No. 5 and Hawai'i Pacific at No. 6, with Point Loma and Azusa Pacific looking to crack the top 8.
The final weekend of the regular season will have an impact on the upcoming polls as the Toros host Sonoma State and San Francisco State this weekend, with the CCAA Tournament to follow next weekend.
The entire field of NCAA participants, along with the host institution and match-ups, will be announced on March 8.
