WE MEET AGAIN...IN THE POSTSEASON
• This is the first time CSUDH & Seattle Pacific have met since, coincidentally, the 2011 NCAA Championship first round.
• SPU won the last meeting, 2-1, in overtime in Seattle.Â
• CSUDH trailed for almost the entire match before Jordan Rover scored the equalizer with four seconds left in regulation. But it was SPU's Christopher Norris that sent the Falcons to the next round with a golden goal 1:19 into overtime.
• CSUDH leads the all-time series with SPU 10-5-1. The Falcons did however snap an eight-match losing streak against the Toros.

NOTES AFTER THURSDAY'S MATCH
• The last time CSUDH scored three goals in a NCAA Championship match was against Sonoma State (3-0) back in 2009.
• Pedro Velasquez became the first Toro to score multiple goals in an NCAA Championship match since Greg Piechota scored twice in the Toros 3-0 win over rival Cal State L.A. in the 2009 NCAA West Region semifinal.
• Matt Michell is the first Toro to have two assists in an NCAA postseason match since Marco Pulido vs. Sonoma State in the 2009 first round.
• It's been 10 years since the last time the Toros were a victim to a penalty kick goal. It was against Fort Lewis College in the NCAA quarterfinals. The Toros eventually lost that match 3-2.
• The last time the Toros had to come from behind in an NCAA Championship match was against Seattle Pacific in 2011. The Toros eventually lost 2-1.Â
• The last Toro come-from-behind victory in the national postseason was against Tampa in the 2008 semifinal. CSUDH tied the match 41 seconds into the second half and scored the golden goal in the 94th minute.
