Box Score

CARSON -- With the time winding down and the game deadlocked at 72, senior Myron Green drove the baseline with one second left, stopped and popped, and the result was a 10-foot swish that gave the Toros a thrilling 74-72 win over a game Sonoma State squad as the Toros Athletics Department honored faculty on "Faculty Appreciation Night" tonight in Carson.

The teams forged three more ties before a Justin Herold bucket with 8 seconds left gave the visitors a 32-30 lead entering the break.

After intermission, SSU looked to pull away early by regaining its 6-point cushion, but again the Toros answered as a pair of Pierson Williams free throws tied the game at 57-57 with just under 10 minutes left in regulation.

Five more ties ensued leading up to the final minute of play, as a pair of Green free throws with 41 seconds left tied the game at 72-72, setting up the late-game heroics after the Seawolves turned the ball over.
