Cox Cable TV Spotlight to Tape Toros Men Hosting Warriors This Friday

CARSON -- Cox Communications will videotape Friday night's Toros men's soccer match against the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors at the StubHub Center in Carson for playback later this month on Cox 3 cable TV.

The coverage marks the second year in a row that Cox Communications has shown the match-up between the Warriors and the Toros. It will also be the third consecutive game at the StubHub Center to show the annual soccer match played at the 27,000-seat main stadium either on Internet television or cable TV.

The contest will be available to around 30,000 Cox Communications subscribers throughout the Palos Verdes Peninsula and southern neighborhoods of San Pedro below Ninth Street.

Toro Sports Network coordinating producer and lead play-by-play announcer David Smock and former KRCR-TV sports anchor Bonnie Valena will call the action.

The game also can be followed via live stats.
