Toros Battle Seawolves on Friday at HDC's Main Stadium

Men's game will be streamed live on LiquidEvent.TV

CARSON -- Friday night's Toros men's soccer clash with the Sonoma State University Seawolves will be televised live worldwide and produced for the Toro Sports Network by Liquid Event TV, an Orange County-based video production company.

Fans can watch free of charge with no registration required. Coverage online at https:new.livestream.com/liquidevent starts at 6:30 p.m. with the Toros GameNight pre-game show counting down to the opening kickoff at 7 o'clock.

The 4:30 p.m. women's game will be broadcast live via Internet radio on the Toro Sports Network at www.GoToros.com/Live with Toros GameDay at 4 o'clock.

This is the first meeting between the clubs at the Home Depot Center's 27,000-seat main stadium, the home field for both Chivas USA and the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.

“We are pleased to be using our fiber optic system, three cameras, and production expertise to televise this great match-up at no cost to either the university or the athletics department,” said Ted Mathisen, owner of Liquid Event TV.  The teams could possibly meet again in this year's CCAA men's soccer tournament November 2 and 4 at Toro Stadium, at the Home Depot Center's track and field stadium.  The title game November 4 will be televised live on the Toro Sports Network.

Now in its fifth year, this is the first multi-camera production in the history of the Toro Sports Network, the worldwide Internet television channel featuring California State University, Dominguez Hills athletics.

Marc Serber of Fox Sports International calls the play-by-play action of the men's game. A Washington, DC area native, Serber is a graduate of Syracuse University. His TV work has appeared nationwide on Fox Soccer, Speed channel, Fox Sports Deportes and locally on KDOC, Channel 56. Serber is the Internet TV play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Blues and Los Angeles Strikers soccer clubs. He is a writer online for soccer365 and US Futblog. Serber is also the European football correspondent for Israel Sports Radio in Jerusalem.

Toro Sports Network coordinating producer and lead play-by-play announcer David Smock calls the action of the women's match. He will also host Toros GameNight, Toros GameDay, the Toros Halftime Report, and College Soccer Final.

A former sports director at the NBC television affiliate in Billings, Montana, Smock began his career in his hometown at local radio station KLON-FM while a student at Long Beach City College.  After transferring, Smock graduated cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in communication arts with an emphasis in broadcast journalism.
