San Francisco State started the game off with a 10-0 run in the first four minutes of regulation.  The Gators danced around an 11-point lead from 16:08 to 10:09 before CSUDH started to challenge.

The Toros battled to within two points after an old-fashioned three point play by Long Beach native Lyndsay Heard, bringing the the score to 32-30.  After two stright Toro fouls in the last two minutes of play, the Gators regained a comfortable lead and wrapped up the first half with a 40-32 advantage.

The second half brought an unstoppable Gator offense as they gained a game high lead of 23 points after a made jumper by junior guard Nicole Hicks.

Defense was lacking for the Toros as they were out-rebounded by the Gator team 40-33.

Leading on the boards for the second consecutive night was Zipporah Brown with nine.

Contributing to the Toros offensive efforts was Porcha Davis, who tallied 10 points on the night.  Perrin-Grant finished 5-for-13 from the floor and 4-for-7 from the foul line for her team-high total.

Hicks score all of her 20 points for San Francisco after the break, with junior guard Michaela Booker matching Hicks' total of 20.  Although Gator forward Farrah Shokoor fouled out of the game, she led the Gators with 13 rebounds.
