Toros Baseball Series Against CCAA-Leading Chico State to be Broadcast Nationally

Toros series against the Wildcats will be broadcast live at GoToros.com/Live

CARSON -- After taking their first CCAA series against cross-town rival Cal State L.A., the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros will be looking to ride momentum into this weekend's tall test. Current CCAA leader Chico State is coming to Carson for a four-game series against the Toros, with all four games being broadcast live via Internet radio on GoToros.com/Live.

Currently seven games behind the Wildcats in the CCAA standings, this weekend's series could make or break the Toros chances to earn one of the four spots in the upcoming CCAA Championship Tournament.

Led by their three All-Americans in Carlos Leyva, Abel Medina and Kevin Pillar, as well as a stellar starting pitching staff, the Toros will need a good showing against a team that has just two league setbacks in 2011.

The Wildcats are led by an ability to take over after the first few innings, which is evident by their 39 run differential between the fourth and eighth innings.
