CARSON -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics official YouTube channel has launched and features five docu-series episodes thus far that were filmed by CSUDH students in the Digital Media Arts program, led by John Gonzales, a faculty member in the DMA program.

Also a CSUDH alum, Gonzales created a new class called DMA 495 Docuseries, where students chose one Toro team to follow throughout the year and turn their journey into docu-series.
Students chose to follow men's soccer in the fall and baseball in the spring, giving recognition to CSUDH's sports and student-athletes.
Gonzales also was in charge of live broadcasts for athletic home contests that included women's soccer, men's soccer and volleyball during the fall, women's and men's basketball in winter, and softball and baseball in spring, as part of a mandate by the California Collegiate Athletic Association to provide live streams for all CCAA member home contests.
