CARSON -- Senior Jordan Rover's two scores led 11th-ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills to a convincing 5-0 win over visiting Cal State Monterey Bay at the Home Depot Center's Main Stadium on a cold but still night in Carson.  With the win, CSUDH improves to 4-0-1, 3-0 CCAA, while CSUMB remains winless at 0-3-1, 0-2-1 CCAA.

A mismatch on paper quickly became one on the field as CSUDH out-shot the Otters 17-0 in the first half en route to a 3-0 lead.  Miguel Vargas and Miguel Vasquez notched goals at the 11:39 and 32:45 marks, before Rover connected on his first score of the night in the 38th minute for the 3-0 lead.

That margin quickly became 4-0 six minutes into the second half as Rover notched his second goal of the night, before a Scott Locken free kick from 30 yards out clipped the right post and ricocheted past diving Otter keeper Sam Campanelli for the game's final tally.

CSUDH finished with a 25-4 shot advantage but was out-cornered 7-6.  Toro keepers Markus Dickerson and Eric Davis, seeing his first action in 2010, combined for the shutout, as the defense kept the visitors from any shot on goal attempts.

The Toros continue their CCAA homestand on Sunday as San Francisco State makes its every-other-year visit to Carson, with first kick set for 2:00 pm.
