CARSON -- After taking the first three game against the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors, the No. 23 Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros finally saw the Warrior bats break loose as they were dealt a 19-2 loss on senior day with their only say coming way of two Abel Medina solo shots.

The only Toro to score in the contest, Medina belted his tenth and eleventh shots of the season for the Toros' only two runs.

Two other seniors tallied hits in the nine frames, Andrew Baslow sliced a single to left in the first that eventually saw him stranded at third while John Skala belted a single to the same location in the fifth.

Extending his NCAA Division II record consecutive game hit-streak to 51 games, Kevin Pillar went 2-of-3 on the day.

From the hill two seniors saw action in relief, Alan Gatz worked 1.2 frames with one struck out while closer Matt Phillips worked the final 0.1 innings of play.

The Warriors ultimately ran the entire show, setting their own record as Douglas Porras went 4-of-4, with all of his hits finding their way over the fence to set the new Warrior record for most homers in a single game.  Porras also account for 10 of his team's 17 RBIs

Picking up the win, Eric Candejas worked eight straight, fanning the same amount of batters and while scattering only seven hits.

The loss puts the Toros at a 37-16 overall mark and closes out the CCAA season at 27-13.  With the No. 2 seed going into the CCAA Tournament, they will now face Cal State San Bernardino in round one on Thursday, May 6 at 3:00pm in Stockton.
