Toros Close Out 2010 Indoor Season With Yet Another Provisional Nod

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- In their final say of the 2010 indoor track & field season, the Cal State Dominguez hills squad posted an impressive day at the Northern Arizona Invitational with yet another Toro posting a championship provisional qualifying time, this time going to Dora Baldwin in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.52.

The finish marks Baldwin's first NCAA provisional mark of her career and is the best she has ran in the 400-meter in the 2010 season.

Not the only one potentially headed to the NCAA Championships, Nancy Blake carded a 7.67 finish in the 60-meter dash for 4th place, earning her provisional qualifying status for the second straight meet.

Team success was found in the quartet of Chanel Parker, Baldwin, Blake and Destiny Tyler whome finished with a season-best time of 3:55.36 in the 4x400-meter relay, good for third place.

Teriana Loftin - Shot Put (9.33m, 20th)

With the 2010 indoor season now behind them, the Toros will look to next week as they begin the 2010 outdoor season at the UCSD Invitation on the campus of UC San Diego.

The 2010 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held March 12-13 on the campus of Adams State College in New Mexico. An announcement of officially placed runners in their events will be made shortly.
