Box Score
CARSON -- With the power of a stellar group of seniors, Cal State Dominguez Hills dominated #3 Cal State San Bernardino en route to a 1-0 victory after honoring nine seniors playing their final regular season game in Toro Stadium. The lone goal was scored by senior Jordan Rover off a rebounded shot from senior Greg Piechota in the 25th minute of the game.

Behind a defense that shutdown the powerful Coyotes attack, the Toros managed to pepper the CSUSB goal with 22 shots. CSUDH seniors had 21 of the 22 shots and all 10 SOG, lead by senior Scott Locken's five shots and two SOG.

Dominguez Hills had several blocked opportunities in the second half including a near cartwheel goal from Rover inside of the five yard box that went just wide. Credit San Bernardino's goalie for keeping them in the game throughout. The lone sour spot was a late red card for Greg Piechota which will keep him out of the first round of the CCAA tournament next week.

Prior to the game, the Toros bade farewell to nine seniors in Eric Davis, Scott Locken, Chris Lopez, Alex Munoz, Greg Piechota, Mike Piechota, Jordan Rover, Diego Turoldo and Miguel Vargas, who all played in their final regular season contest at Toro Stadium.

CSUDH, now 12-5-1 will gear up for the CCAA Championship Tournament beginning on Friday in Turlock, hosted by Cal State Stanislaus, against North Division Champion #13 nationally Chico State Wildcats, set for an 11:30 am first kick.
