Men's Soccer First Round Far West Region Match To Be Seen Around the World

Carson, CA -- With approval from the National Collegiate Athletic Association and in conjunction with Radio Sports America, Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics is proud to announce that the NCAA D-II Men's Soccer Far West Regional match-up featuring Notre Dame de Namur (Belmont, CA) and Cal State Dominguez Hills will be broadcasted online in both audio and video format.

After advancing in a shootout over Chico State in the first round of the CCAA Championships, the Toros fell victim to a shootout in their quest to three-peat, falling to Sonoma State 6-5.  However, with both contests going into the books as ties, CSUDH maintained its top seed in the Far West Region and, with its 14-2-4 in region and 16-2-4 overall record, was granted hosting duties for the fourth-consecutive year.

After blanking BYU-Hawai'i 3-0 and clinching the PacWest title, the Argonauts are now 14-2-3 in-region (14-3-3 overall), securing the No. 4 seed in region. This marks the second time NDNU has won the conference title after sharing it with Grand Canyon University in 2006.

Live Internet radio of this first-round match-up, scheduled for Thursday, November 13th at 7:00 pm PST can be heard on the Toro Sports Network, courtesy of Radio Sports America.

David Smock, the "Voice of the Toro Sports Network," will call the play-by-play action.  He is also the founder and president of Radio Sports America.

Live audio can be heard here while live stats can be followed online here. Video will be available on the Toros 'Video on Demand' website following the game on Friday, November 14th here.
