Cross Country Closes Out Regular Season at Triton Invitational

La Jolla, CA --- The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's cross country team closed out their regular season of competition at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational in a 6k race with two of their runners breaking the 30-minute mark. Liliana Yera led the team, in a field of 126 runners, with a time of 26:43 to place 95th.

Yera was followed closely by Dora Baldwin (pictured), who posted a time of 28:52 and a place of 112th, for her second 6k run under 30 minutes.

The invitational, held at La Jolla's scenic Balboa Park, included 14 schools from across the country with the University of Alaska-Anchorage leading the race.

The Toros will next compete at the CCAA Championships, hosted by Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, October 25th.
