Stephanie picked up two of the Toros' three wins last weekend as CSUDH stayed within striking distance for the fourth and final berth in the upcoming CCAA championship tournament.

The Norwalk native and birthday girl posted a 1.69 ERA in going 2-0, fanning 17 batters against just 2 walks at Cal State East Bay.

On her birthday on Friday, Jimenez fanned the first 8 of 9 batters she faced en route to a 1-0 shutout win, finishing with 10 Ks against zero walks.  She completed her weekend with 5.0 innings pitched in a 10-0 rout against the Pioneers.

Additionally, Jimenez hit .667 at the plate, going 2-for-3 overall.
