Green was solid as the Toros split a pair of league games to open the 2012 calendar year, blowing out Sonoma State before falling in a 56-54 thriller to the reigning CCAA regular season champions in Humboldt State one night later.

The Long Beach native started his weekend by nailing 4-of-5 shots from the floor in the win against the Seawovles for a game-high 14 points while adding 3 assists, before scoring 8 points the next night, also adding 3 assists and a block.

For the weekend, Green hit 6-of-11 from the floor and 9-of-14 from the charity stripe as the Toros moved into a 3-way tie for third place in the league standings.
