            Munoz controlled the midfield as the Toros swept a key weekend hosting their foes from the north, including their arch-rival Sonoma State.

            In the 3-0 win against the Seawolves on Sunday, the senior midfielder scored what proved to be the game-winner at 12:10 on a direct kick from over 25 yards out that beat SSU’s keeper near post.  In addition to sending 3 of his 5 shots on goal, he continually thwarted the Seawolf defense by controlling possession and winning ball after ball from a taller and more physical SSU midfield.

            Two days earlier in the 2-0 over Humboldt State, Munoz again played a crucial role in CSUDH tallying a decisive shot advantage (16-6), finally capitalizing on his fourth and final shot with an insurance goal in the 86^th minute.

            Overall, Munoz tallied two goals in two games, including the game-winner over the Toros’ fiercest competitor in SSU.
