Jordan was a table-setter as the Toros took 3-of-4 from visiting Cal State East Bay to get back into the thick of the CCAA race, scoring a team-best 5 runs while tying for the most hits with 7 in just 11 at-bats.
The senior designated player/left fielder got her weekend started by belting two hits in her last two at-bats in CSUDH’s come-from-behind extra inning win to start the series, driving in and scoring a run in the bottom of the 7th game-tying rally before contributing to the romp in the nightcap with a hit and run scored.
The Huntington Beach native nearly won Saturday’s opener herself after going 3-for-3 and scoring both runs before the Pioneers mounted their extra-inning comeback, while again contributing with a hit and run scored as the Toros took the nightcap for their third win in four games.
On Saturday, Jordan also reached base in five-consecutive at-bats.
On the weekend, Jordan batted .636 while scoring a team best 5 runs. The speedster enjoyed two multi-hit contests and scored at least one run in all four games, adding a stolen base for good measure and finishing second on the team in on-base and slugging percentages.
