Murphy scored three goals in two games and assisted on another as the Toros advanced to the NCAA West Region final at UCSD on November 20. After scoring twice in the 4-1 win over Dixie State, the Torrance native tallied the game-winner against the top-seeded and host Golden Eagles to bring CSUDH to the West Region title game.
