A seasoned athlete who has many years of experience in both cross country and track & field, Sarah Halls is entering her first year as an assistant coach for the women's cross country team. Hall's duties will include mentoring the team and the recruitment of new student-athletes.

In addition to her duties for the Toros, Hall is employed as a social worker, working with acute psychiatric patients since 2004, when she graduated with a double major in Anthropology and Sociology from Vanguard University.

Hall's experience in cross country and track & field spans four years of high school and college apiece. After graduating from Estancia High School in Costa Mesa, Calif. Hall became a standout runner at Vanguard University, where she still holds two track & field records including the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:25.40) and a spot on the record-holding distance medley team.

Over her career Hall also competed in the NAIA National Championships in the 1,500, 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000-meter runs. Additionally Hall was named an NAIA All-American for her efforts in cross-country and track & field.
