Posted a 17-11 record in first season as a Toro, fanning 62 batters in 183.0 innings pitched ... Tossed two 2-hitters on the year in wins at Chico State (March 20) and against W. Washington (March 29) ... Struck out at least 5 batters six times, including season-high 6 batters vs. San Francisco State (Feb. 1) in CSUDH's season-opener ... San Jose State: Led Spartans to runner-up finish under coach Dee Dee Enebenter … Boasted a 4-2 record and a 3.46 ERA in 60.2 innings pitched … Fanned 27 batters against just 11 walks (2.5:1 ratio).

Cal State San Bernardino: Started 36 of 45 games for the Coyotes, tallying a 10-27 record and 3.75 ERA … Fanned 68 batters in 255.2 innings pitched, including three shutouts … At the plate, batted .308 with two doubles, a triple and one HR in 13 at-bats.

William Workman HS: Four-sport athlete at WWHS (softball, basketball, water polo and volleyball) … Four-year letter-winner on the diamond for coach Joe Cruz, leading Lobos to consecutive league titles and two runner-up finishes … Four-time All-Mount View League selection … Named 2004 league MVP … As a senior, boasted a paltry 1.01 EA and .507 batting average with 8 home runs.
