Prior to South Dakota State, Aggabao spent seven seasons as an assistant coach at the University of San Diego that followed an award-winning playing career at UC San Diego, where she earned CCAA Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2004.

During her tenure at USD, Aggabao most recently served as the team's hitting coach, infield coach and recruiting coordinator, helping the Toreros increase their win total over her final three seasons, and boast their third-straight winning campaign in league play.

Additionally, Aggabao coached a total of 14 all-conference selections in her final four years, one all-West Region pick and one PCSC most valuable player. Two Toreros earned first-team all-conference selections, with one earning all-West Region in 2010, when the Aggabao coached hitters compiled a .262 team batting average. A year later, the team batted .271, with five all-conference selections and the league's most valuable player.

A native of Walnut, Calif., Aggabao played at UC San Diego, where she graduated in 2004 with a degree in biology and a minor in sociology. She started at the middle infield positions in all four years with the Tritons, earning All-CCAA First Team honors three times.

A team captain in both her junior and senior years, Aggabao batted .297 as a junior with 47 hits and led the Tritons with 30 RBI. She followed that with a .411 batting average as a senior in 2004, earning the CCAA Most Valuable Player award and garnering All-West Region Second Team honors.

In addition to her league-leading batting average in 2004, she also led the Tritons with 67 hits, 38 RBI and set a school record with 23 doubles, which tied her for the most in the nation in 2004 en route to being named an Athlete of the Year by the UCSD Athletic Department.

In four years with the Tritons, Aggabao compiled a .312 batting average, including a .335 average over her final three years, and ranks among the all-time career leaders in several different categories, including hits, RBI, doubles, runs scored, putouts and assists.

Off the field at UCSD, Aggabao represented her team in the Triton Athletes Council, an organization that serves as a forum aiming to improve the quality of the UCSD student-athletes' collegiate experience.
