Katie Jordan begins her first year as an assistant coach for the Toros softball program after enjoying a stellar and award-winning four-year career as a player.
During her tenure, the Huntington Beach native claimed a Daktronics 1st-team All-Region nod, two 1st-team All-CCAA honors and one 2nd-team All-CCAA accolade en route to finishing her career with a .322 batting average and a solid 42 stolen bases in 56 attempts.
In Toro softball lore, Jordan ended her senior year 2nd all time in hits and at-bats, 3rd in runs, 4th in stolen bases, 5th in games played and 6th in batting average in the program's history.
Jordan, who received her BA in Liberal Studies from CSUDH, currently is pursuing her teaching credential from her alma mater.
