Ward begins his 11th season on the sidelines as the top men's basketball assistant coach, and first season in Intramurals.
As the top men’s basketball assistant coach, Ward is responsible for practice management, recruiting, scouting, all administrative duties and on-floor coaching.
Coach Ward received his undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management in 1998 from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC. He then earned a master’s degree in Global Management Concepts in 2000 from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI, and a second master's degree in Physical Education and Administration from CSUDH in 2009.
Ward, wife Diana, son Drew and daughter Maya reside in Garden Grove.
