Toliver begins his second year on the Toro sidelines after a solid four-year career as a player in Cardinal and Gold.
A 6-5 guard, Toliver established the CSUDH career marks for 3-pointers made and attempted in his final year on the Carson campus, after making 53 starts in 110 games played in his career.
The Inglewood native tallied a career-best 26 points against San Francisco State (March 2, 2007), becoming the lone Toro to boast two games with at least 20 points scored during a sophomore season in which he averaged just under 10 points a game.
Toliver earned his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from CSUDH in December 2009.
