CARSON -- Senior pitcher

Deegan Grgas began the frame with back-to-back hits.Â
Quinn Johnson then was plunked to load the bases, with
Tristan Usher drawing a walk on a full count to knot the game at 1-1.
After CSUSBÂ retired the next batter,Â
Angel Cortez was hit by a pitch to bring home Grgas, with Ragland lacing a 2-run double two pitches later to give the Toros a 4-1 lead.
Johnson added what would prove to be the game-winner in the eighth inning after CSUSB scored three runs in the ninth to get to within 5-4.
