Box Score HAYWARD -- In a prime-time match-up of the top two teams in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, No. 3 ranked and undefeated Cal State East Bay showed why it's one of the top teams in the nation after taking a convincing 79-57 decision over Cal State Dominguez Hills, halting the Toros' modest four-game win streak.

Josiah Sanders led all players with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the floor, 14 rebounds, and five blocks, but the Pioneers built a 41-21 halftime lead and never looked back.
The Toros were held to just 36.9% shooting from the floor and an even less efficient 26.3% from 3-point land, with its bench being outscored 35-10 in the loss.
Jalen Brown chipped in 17 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor as the only other Toro in double-figure scoring.
CSUDH looks to regroup at home next week, beginning with a Thursday night tilt against Cal State San Marcos at 7:30 pm in the Torodome.
