POMONA -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team remains winless in California Collegiate Athletic Association action after dropping a 2-nil decision at No. 12 Cal Poly Pomona this afternoon, falling in its seventh-straight contest.
CSUDH was dominated by the nationally-ranked Broncos, who reached the NCAA Semifinal last year, getting outshot by a 21 to 3 tally including 14 to 1 in the first half that accounted for both CPP scores.
The Toros played the Broncos even after intermission by rattling off two shots compared to just seven for the hosts, with
Alexis Butz's attempt the lone shot on frame.
In addition to Butz's attempt,
Aaliyah Payne and
Hannah Allen (pictured) also got off shots.
CSUDHÂ will look to pick up its first league win on Sunday, hosting Cal State East Bay in an 11 am contest at Toro Stadium.
