ATLANTA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills'
Jalen Brown and
Josiah Sanders were named to the first Bevo Francis Watch List for the 2025-26 season, it was announced by Small College Basketball and the National Awards Committee.
Cal State Dominguez Hills, which finished the 2024-25 season as NCAA National Runner-Up, is the lone CCAA school represented on the Watch List.
The list spans the top student-athletes competing across DII, DIII, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA programs, and is named after Bevo Francis, who holds the DII single-game scoring record (113) and the season average record (46.5 points per game) while at Rio Grande.
The list will be narrowed to 50 on February 15, with the top 25 being named on March 15. The finalists will be revealed on April 4, with the winner announced on April 6, the day after the 2026 DII men's basketball championship.
