LA MIRADA, Calif. – Cal State Dominguez Hills dropped a 3-0 decision to Biola on Friday night at Chase Gymnasium in non-conference play.

The Toros battled in each frame but came up short by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 25-20. CSUDH finished with 37 kills and a .154 hitting percentage while Biola hit .236.

Ava Hurry led the offense with 10 kills and added five digs, while Bailey Fuches followed with eight kills, two assists and two digs. Natalia Walden-Schulz and Shyla Williams each contributed six kills, with Williams also picking up a dig and block assist. Camryn Perdue posted five kills and added three block assists.

Setter Giovannina De Sisto tallied 13 assists, three digs and a service ace, while Jaiden Mojica added 11 assists, nine digs and one ace. Defensively, Nina Robles anchored the back row with 17 digs.

As a team, the Toros recorded 42 digs, 33 assists and five service aces.
