Carson, Calif.,- Cal State Dominguez Hills closed its 2025 season with a sweep of UC Merced on Senior Night, earning a 25-23, 25-9, 25-20 victory Saturday evening inside the Torodome.
Senior opposite Ava Hurry led the Toros with a match-high 17 kills on .607 hitting, surpassing 1,000 career kills in the process. She added 10 digs and one ace to cap her career night.

Bailey Fuches added 10 kills and four total blocks, while Cassie Taylor and Camryn Perdue chipped in eight kills each. Perdue hit .700 and posted a team-high five blocks.
Setter Jaiden Mojica guided the offense with 23 assists and two aces, and libero Nina Robles anchored the defense with eight digs. The Toros hit .402 as a team — their second-highest hitting percentage of the season — while holding the Bobcats (6-21, 5-13 CCAA) to .158.
Dominguez Hills controlled the match from the start, using an 18-kill first set to take early momentum before dominating the second frame behind a .542 attack clip. The Toros closed the night with a balanced offensive push in the third to secure the sweep.
CSUDH honored its 10 seniors following the match in front of 208 fans. The contest marked the final match of the Toros' 2025 campaign.
