CHICO, Calif. — Cal State Dominguez Hills wrapped up its Northern California road trip on Saturday night, falling in three sets to Chico State in CCAA play at Acker Gym.
Set scores were 25-15, 25-12, and 25-11, as the Toros showed grit and effort throughout the match despite facing a sharp-hitting Wildcat squad.
Bailey Fuches led CSUDH with 10 kills, while Ava Hurry added four kills and two aces. Anna Sanzaro was efficient with three kills on a .600 hitting percentage. Setter Giovannina De Sisto paced the offense with 17 assists, while libero Nina Robles anchored the defense with 12 digs.
