SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Cal State Dominguez Hills showed fight in stretches but fell 3-0 to Cal State San Bernardino in CCAA play on Saturday night at Coussoulis Arena.

The Toros nearly stole momentum in the opening set before the Coyotes pulled away late for a 25-22 decision. CSUSB followed with set wins of 25-13 and 25-20 to close the match.

Bailey Fuches led the offense with 10 kills while hitting .429 and added eight digs and four assists. Ava Hurry finished with five kills, two digs and one service ace. Natalia Walden-Schulz chipped in six kills and two block assists. Anna Sanzaro tallied two kills and four service aces, while Camryn Perdue and Ally Sokolow each recorded a kill.

Setter Jaiden Mojica paced the attack with 14 assists, two digs and one ace, while libero Nina Robles anchored the back row with seven digs and a service ace. Cassie Taylor added two kills and eight digs.

As a team, CSUDH posted 27 kills, 25 assists, 40 digs and eight service aces.
