CARSON, Calif. — Cal State Dominguez Hills exploded for four goals in the first half to secure a convincing victory over Hawaii Pacific on cruising to a 4-0 win.
The scoring opened in the 19th minute when
Logan Kaufman netted his first goal of the season, assisted by
Gabriel Gonzalez. Kaufman's strike set the tone early for the Toros.
Just seven minutes later,
Sergio Valenzuela doubled the lead with an unassisted goal in the 26th minute, putting CSUDH firmly in control.
The Toros continued their dominance as Chris Briseno added a third goal in the 40th minute, assisted by Mikey McKibbin. Briseno's finish capped a well-executed offensive buildup.
Cal State Dominguez Hills rounded out the first half scoring with a final goal just before the break at 44:16, sealing a commanding performance.
