LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros fought hard but fell 2-0 to the Cal State LA Golden Eagles.
The Toros came out strong, with
Gavin Brummer forcing a save in the 5th minute after a shot aimed at the bottom left corner.
Jose Peredia followed up with a shot in the 11th minute, narrowly missing the target.
Michael McKibbin had two dangerous attempts, including a shot in the 55th minute that went just wide, and a final effort in the 90th minute that was saved by Cal State LA's goalkeeper.
The Golden Eagles broke through to score in the 26th and 76th minutes to secure the victory.
The Toros are on the road next week as they head to Turlock to take on Stanislaus State Friday, October 4
th at 4:30pm.
