Kaila Tone's late penalty kick goal in the 82nd minute proved to be the difference as Cal State Dominguez Hills edged Fresno Pacific 1-0.
After a tightly contested match, Tone stepped up and calmly converted the decisive penalty, giving the Toros the lead with just under 10 minutes left in regulation. The penalty was awarded after a foul was drawn in the box and Tone made no mistake from the spot. Tone also had an impactful defensive performance, playing the full 90 minutes and contributing with one shot on goal.
The Toros' defense held strong for the remainder of the match, securing the shutout and sealing the victory. Goalkeeper
