CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros track and field team showcased their talents at the recent invitational, competing in multiple events with notable performances across the board.
Alyssa Renwick led the Toros in the 100 meters, clocking in at 12.65 seconds placing 17th overall.
Teloni Ervin finished 27th with a time of 13.03 seconds, closely followed by her twin sister,
Leloni Ervin, who placed 30th with a time of 13.09 seconds.
Camille Brown and
Chantel Palmer rounded out the event for the Toros, finishing 51st and 52nd with times of 15.19 seconds and 15.48 seconds.
In the 200 meters, T. Ervin again led the team, placing 40th with a time of 26.90 seconds. L. Ervin was right behind her, finishing 41st with a time of 26.93 seconds.
Alyssa Renwick placed 45th with a time of 27.30 seconds.
Christine Duarte represented the Toros in the 800 meters, finishing 32nd with a time of 2:28.50.
In the javelin throw,
Katrina Witbeck led the Toros with a mark of 21.64 meters (71 feet), placing 27th.
Kaila Jenkins followed with a throw of 9.86 meters (32 feet 4 inches), securing 34th place.
Overall, the Toros showed a solid performance and are looking forward to building on these results in their upcoming meets.
